What is StaFi protocol?
StaFi protocol is the first decentralized protocol designed to unlock the liquidity of Staked assets. It aims to address the challenge of balancing Mainnet security and token liquidity in PoS consensus. With StaFi, token holders can stake their assets through staking contracts and receive alternative tokens (rToken) such as rDOT, rATOM, rBNB, rSOL, etc. These rTokens are tradable and also earn staking rewards from the original chain simultaneously.
StaFi, short for Staking+Finance, is a decentralized protocol built on Substrate. It consists of multiple staking contracts at the contract layer and primarily functions as a trading platform for rTokens at the application layer.
