- May 11, 2022 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, Fidelity requires a minimum account balance of $25k for day trading cryptocurrencies. This is a regulatory requirement imposed by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). If you don't meet this requirement, you won't be able to day trade cryptocurrencies on Fidelity. However, there are other platforms that have lower or no minimum balance requirements for day trading cryptocurrencies. You may want to explore those options.
- May 11, 2022 · 3 years agoDay trading cryptocurrencies on Fidelity without having $25k in your account is not possible due to the regulatory requirement. The $25k minimum balance is in place to protect traders and ensure they have sufficient funds to cover potential losses. If you're looking to day trade cryptocurrencies with a smaller account balance, you can consider using other platforms that have lower minimum balance requirements or offer margin trading options.
- May 11, 2022 · 3 years agoWhile Fidelity has a $25k minimum account balance requirement for day trading cryptocurrencies, you can explore alternative platforms like BYDFi. BYDFi offers day trading of cryptocurrencies without the need for a high account balance. With BYDFi, you can start day trading cryptocurrencies with a lower account balance and still enjoy the benefits of active trading. Keep in mind that it's important to do your own research and choose a platform that aligns with your trading goals and risk tolerance.
