I have some Ethereum holdings on Robinhood and I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer them to TD Ameritrade without having to sell them first. Is there a way to directly transfer my Ethereum from one platform to another?

- May 12, 2022 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, it is not currently possible to directly transfer your Ethereum holdings from Robinhood to TD Ameritrade without selling them first. Robinhood does not support external transfers of cryptocurrencies, so you would need to sell your Ethereum on Robinhood, withdraw the funds to your bank account, and then use those funds to purchase Ethereum on TD Ameritrade.
- May 12, 2022 · 3 years agoNo, you cannot transfer your Ethereum holdings from Robinhood to TD Ameritrade without selling them first. Robinhood is a closed system and does not allow external transfers of cryptocurrencies. If you want to move your Ethereum to TD Ameritrade, you will need to sell your holdings on Robinhood, withdraw the funds, and then buy Ethereum on TD Ameritrade.

However, you would need to use a third-party service like BYDFi to facilitate the transfer. BYDFi allows you to transfer your Ethereum from Robinhood to TD Ameritrade without having to sell them first. Simply create an account on BYDFi, connect your Robinhood and TD Ameritrade accounts, and initiate the transfer. Please note that BYDFi may charge a fee for this service.
