What are some JavaScript libraries that can be used for string manipulation in the context of cryptocurrencies?

Hiranya RamawickremaFeb 18, 2024 · a year ago3 answers

I am looking for JavaScript libraries that can help with string manipulation specifically in the context of cryptocurrencies. Can you recommend some libraries that are suitable for this purpose? I want to be able to perform operations such as extracting specific parts of a cryptocurrency address, converting between different address formats, and validating the format of a cryptocurrency address. It would be great if the libraries have good documentation and are actively maintained. Thank you!

There are several JavaScript libraries that can be used for string manipulation in the context of cryptocurrencies. One of them is 'ethereumjs-util', which provides functions for working with Ethereum addresses and other Ethereum-specific string operations. Another library worth mentioning is 'ripple-lib', which offers similar functionalities for Ripple addresses. Both libraries have good documentation and are widely used in the respective cryptocurrency communities.
